WINDING DOWN LENT TERM, 2018/19 ACADEMIC SESSION

Dear Parents,

We are gradually winding down towards the end of the Lent Term with both teachers and pupils gearing up for the forth coming inter house sports competition. In order to have a successful and fun filled event, there has been some adjustments in classroom learning which we will be making up for when the competition is over.

We are very grateful to God Almighty for his presence and protection especially in this period of the rehearsals where some kids had to sustain injuries like bruises, blisters etc as we also thank the affected/concerned parents for their usual understanding as these are the short falls experienced during such activities.

Our Second Annual Inter House Competition is scheduled to take place as follows:

Date:        Thursday, 21st March, 2019

Venue:       U.J. Esuene Stadium

Time:         9:00am prompt

We wish to invite all our esteemed parents to this auspicious occasion to come out and cheer as well as add colour to the event.

Kids are to come to the stadium dressed in the new sportswear (which will only be issued to kids who have made full payment) with pure white canvas/sneakers and socks.

Parents are to drop off their kids at the U.J. Esuene stadium at 8:00am and sign them into their various houses then pick up at 2:30pm after signing them out. This is to ensure that all kids are accounted for.

Parents who intend to put up a vendor’s stand should contact the sports committee for the financial implication.

Friday, 22nd March 2019 is a school free day to enable kids recuperate after the Interhouse event.

All kids are expected back to school on Monday 25th March 2019 to continue with the remaining one week of learning before the end of term assessment which will commence on the 1st of April through the 5th of April 2019. Please ensure kids properly go over their books and homework activity which comes home daily.

Our deep appreciation goes to all our parents who have supported us when the various houses did their fund raising. We also wish to specially thank  Mr. & Mrs. Abe and Nestle Foods Plc., Barr. Enobong Uno-Asuquo and the Sports committee headed by Mr. Oguru as well as his team Mrs. Linda Emeka Osbert, Mr. Nwigwe and Barr. Umanah

Do have an awesome week ahead as we look forward to seeing you all, grace our Interhouse sport occasion on Thursday 21st of March 2019.
