A great New Year Parents!

Warm Compliments of the New Term, It’s good to be back and equally thankful that everyone is back and resumed earnestly after the break.

All activities have started in full gear with revision of last term’s work, discussions of the christmas break is over now, both staff and pupils are back to business of learning as usual, It’s great to be back again.

A whole lot of important and exciting events will be coming up soon.

Friendship Day (Tuesday, 14th February, 2017):

We will be celebrating friendship day in the children’s classes this term. We will not be able to invite parents in since the hall is still under renovation. We are really sorry for this. The children will come dressed in Red tops on Jeans and Black shoes as usual.

All Club activities start next week Monday, 23rd January, 2017. This gives parents time to discuss with the kids which club is relevant/preferable to them. Please enroll them as soon as you confirm this. Check the front porch for club days and time.

Parents Teachers’ Conference/Open Day:

Parents Teachers’ Conference is scheduled for 21st February, 2017 and Open Day comes up on the next day 22nd February, 2017.

Maiden Inter House Sport Event:

Hurray! We will be having our maiden edition of our annual Inter House Sports on the 10th of March, 2017. Everyone is already in high spirits about this and in as much as we will be spending more hours outdoor we will try our best to make sure the children do not loose out on classes as well.

It is very important to create a balance to achieve all activities. We will be updating on this very soon.

Do read the newsletters and be well informed.

Staff Changes:

Ms. Ubong is back and with her usual effervescent self, she resumed with the kids and takes back her class in the early years, what a welcome relief to have her back.

Ms. Chioma is back too after bagging a Diploma, She assists Ms. Blessing as an assistant teacher in the Reception class.

Ms. Enobong is back also in her Year 1 class. We are grateful for having her back.

We have Ms. Bosede as an assistant teacher in Year 3, She will be assisting Ms. Urmilla.

Ms. Nkeiru moved on, we wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

Homework will be coming in as usual, some weeks more often than others. Let’s encourage our children by checking their worksheets before we retire.
