TRINITY TERM UPDATE

Hello Parents,

The Trinity term that began on the 23rd of April 2018 with lots of fascinating and educating activities from the kids in the various classes has finally come to an end with all thanks and gratitude to God Almighty who saw us through it all. We also thank you parents because we would not have achieved all our set milestones without your unwavering support, encouragement and constructive criticisms. The kids are not left out here as each learning day is not complete without their cries, bikerings, laughter, smiles and general interactions with their peers and teachers.

In the course of the term, we had our annual Science Fair where the kids dazzled parents with different scientific demonstrations and experiments based on their hands-on science lessons. It was such fun to see balloons inflated using gas, making clouds, creating fantastic foamy fountain, showcasing the effect of plastics in the environment, re enacting volcanic eruption, making models of fossils etc. The kids can hardly wait for the next edition.

The History lessons this term took a slight twist as kids enjoyed taking up the roles of notable icons, sharing the experiences of past heroes/heroines within and outside Africa as well as exhibiting different monuments such as the coloseum, the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, the Aro Meta, Mary Slessor etc.

Preparations are in top gear towards our eight Move up ceremony and second graduation ceremonies which will wrap up the 2017/2018 academic session. Parents of the graduating and Move up kids are expected to be seated in the hall at 10:30am prompt for this epoch making event. (Please, refer to the letter that was sent home as regards dress code and sitting arrangement).

Collection of the end of Trinity Term Assessment scripts and tellers from Creche to Year 5 will be on Thursday 19th July 2018 at 11:00am.

P:S: A copy of the second edition of the Year Book will be given to each family an billed into next term’s fees.

Summer Swing will hold here in school from the 1st – 22nd of August, 2018 with lots of exciting and hands on activities. Please, engage them meaningfully over the break by registering them to be a part of it. Payment and further enquires can be made at the front desk between the hours of 9am and 2pm.

Admission into the Early Years classes (with limited spaces) for the 2018/2019 academic session is ongoing. Existing/intending parents can meet with the admission office to book a space for their kids.

As we all proceed on the long break, let’s remember to stay safe, and healthy as we look forward to seeing everyone back to school on the 10th of September 2018.

We would like to appreciate the following parents for their support over the accolades gift. Mr. & Mrs. Ashoro, Mr. & Mrs. Essien, Mr. & Mrs. Ifere and Mr. & Mrs. Lete –Fabani and also not forgetting Mrs. Mensah for the wonderful hall decoration. These donations went a long way in the planning of the occasion. God bless you.

Have an enjoyable summer break!
